MG ZS EV completes 40000 km in 18 months: Ownership update

MG Motor India today announced that its MG ZS EV completes 40000 km in 18 months since its launch. This highlights the practicality and real-world usability of electric vehicles for daily use.

The ZS EV customer has shared his ownership experience after driving the car for over 40,000 km in Delhi-NCR. He said, “I bought the ZS EV in September 2020 and it has been my primary car for daily office commutes and weekend getaways. I have driven it for over 40,000 km now and can confidently say it delivers a range of 300 km on a single charge which takes care of my daily driving needs.”

“The smooth, noiseless drive quality along with zero emissions makes it a pleasure to drive every day. I just need to plug it in at night and it’s ready to go the next morning. Moreover, the running costs are negligible as electricity is way cheaper than petrol or diesel. My average electricity bill for charging the car comes to around Rs. 800-900 per month which is less than a quarter of what I would spend on fuel otherwise,” he added.

Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India, said, “We are thrilled to see our ZS EV customers achieve new milestones every day. Completing 40,000 km in just 18 months exemplifies the reliability and robustness of EV technology for Indian conditions. With more people experiencing the pleasure and practicality of driving electric vehicles we are accelerating the adoption of green mobility in India.”
