Benno’s RemiDemi Is A Compact E-Bike That’s Big On Cargo

New York: Benno, a New York-based electric bike manufacturer, has launched the RemiDemi – an innovative Benno’s RemiDemi Is A Compact E-Bike for urban utility and cargo delivery applications.

The RemiDemi features a step-through frame and 20-inch wheels, distinguishing itself from standard e-bikes. But the bike’s superpower lies in its patented front rack system that can carry heavy loads up to 60 pounds, transforming it into a mini cargo e-bike.

“We engineered the RemiDemi specifically for Manhattan’s congested streets and apartment dwellers,” said Benjamin Cohen, co-founder of Benno. “It combines the compact form of a folding bike with cargo-hauling capacity that can handle grocery runs or food deliveries with ease.”

The front rack uses military-grade aluminum and can be outfitted with various attachments and accessories to carry different types of loads like groceries, takeouts, packages, and more. The rack also enables easy walk-through access when parked in tight spaces.

The 250W rear hub motor can assist up to a speed of 20mph in throttle mode. The 36V 9Ah (324 Wh) battery offers up to 50 miles of range, depending on ride mode and terrain. The bike weighs 55 pounds and comes with an LED display and integrated lights.
